Mi Centro Supports the Arts!

This Fall, Mi Centro is proud to introduce it’s Art & Cultural Center.  There are several events planned for the 2022-23 year, along with the permanent installation of art pieces Mi Centro has acquired from several local artists – including Juan La Torre, Jake Prendez, and Barbara Rivera.

Whats new at Mi Centro

Come Visit Mi Centro's newest mural donated by staff and students in S.A.M.I.'s Visual Arts Class "Muralismo in Mexico".

The mural can be found on the west side of Mi Centro's building, facing the parking lot.

Mi Centro is honored and excited to present Yesika Salgado (@YesikaStarr) as this year’s featured guest for our second annual “Empowered Woman” event at the Tacoma Art Museum. Space is limited, so be sure to register and enjoy an intimate workshop experience with Yesika’s transcendental poetic gifts, love, and strong fire.  Links for the workshop registration and to reserve your tickets to the main event can be found in the comments below.
