Mi Centro Supports the Arts!
Launched in 2022, Mi Centro’s Arreguin Arts & Culture Department is geared towards cultivating an artist collective that honors our rich heritage, enhance our communities life experience with culturally relevant Latino Indigenous arts, and promote healing through the preservation and celebration of our communities identity. Programming has included art exhibits, workshops, cooking/music classes, cultural events, special guest speakers, and so much more! Mi Centro is a proud recipient of Tacoma Creates’ Comprehensive Organization Support grant.
Lanzado en 2022, el Departamento Arreguin Arte y Cultura de Mi Centro está orientado a cultivar una colectiva de artistas que honre nuestra herencia, mejore la experiencia de vida de nuestras comunidades con artes indígenas latinas culturalmente relevantes y promueva la fortaleza interna a través de la preservación y celebración de la identidad de nuestras comunidad. La programación ha incluido exhibiciones de arte, talleres, clases de cocina/música, eventos culturales, invitados especiales y mucho más! Mi Centro se enorgullece de recibir la subvención de Tacoma Creates’ Comprehensive Organization Support.

Our Gallery
We believe that the Latino Indigenous community experiences are empowering, resilient, unique and multi-dimensional. We hope that the Art & Cultural Center will cultivate a space and provide an opportunity for vital access to the arts honoring the rich heritage of our community.
