As we gear up for Latine Pride at Mi Centro, join us Friday, June 7^th at 2:00-3:00pm for a Latine Pride Workshop making ‘Paper Pride Earrings’ with Vanessa Mercedes Art! This is a free, bilingual drop-in class. We will be making Paper Pride Earrings, customizing them with pride themes/colors or things that represent you.

Vanessa Mercedes Aguilar Harriss was born in 1995 in Sacramento California. Harriss graduated with a degree in visual arts from The Evergreen State College in Olympia Washington. Harriss is a Chicana artist who is reconnecting with her Indigenous Nahua heritage through art, and language. Magical Realism and Surrealism heavily influence Harriss’ work, she finds inspiration from fellow Indigenous, Latinx, & Queer artists and writers.
